Originally, they were called Mini-Sarah Bernhardt. The histories however tell us that, the small cake, because of its similarities to the radio buttons, that you twisted during the second wall war to listen to the English radio station BBC, it then took name after those. It is also reported that resistance fighters used them as a recognition signal when they had to meet discreetly. Radio macaroon consists of dark chocolate truffle on a macaroon base and then dipped in dark chocolate.
