Christmas is the festival of the heart, celebrating the birth of Jesus. A great amount of treats make their way into La Glace for Christmas, starting as early as the beginning of November.
First, we decorate the windows, and then the Christmas season begins. Above all, it is the marzipan pigs that are in high demand. These sweet pigs come in various sizes: 50g, 100g, 250g, 450g, and 1,000g. Always adorned with a cheerful expression and a red bow on their belly.
On the biscuit front, La Glace is also very active. Throughout the year, we offer a selection of nine different types of butter cookies, but at Christmas, our butter cookie production expands to include Brune Kager (gingerbread), Finskbrød (Finnish bread), Klejner (twisted pastries), and Pepperkager (peppernuts). We also make Honey Hearts, Christmas Trees, Florentines, Confectionery Bread, Christmas Almond Cake, Christmas Glacettes, and of course, Christmas Ice Desserts.
In the shop, you can also enjoy our Cherry Christmas Cake and the confectioner’s Holberg’s Christmas Cake. Lastly, don’t forget our delightful Christmas Ice cream cake, which is a perfect conclusion to any Christmas meal. It can be ordered for 6, 8, 10, or 12 people.
